12/27

In conversation I was asked if I was agnostic, I'm guessing because I shared a different opinion then the one that was being discussed. This would imply that I am:

1
: a person who holds the view that any ultimate reality (as God) is unknown and probably unknowable; broadly : one who is not committed to believing in either the existence or the nonexistence of God or a god
2 : a person unwilling to commit to an opinion about something

Neither definition applies here. I clearly am not the latter definition and though I am not a religious person I'm far from definition numero uno.

What's your handicap?

Tiger Woods... Everyone has so much to say right now about what seemed to me to be an issue of infidelity, but apparently to some it is much more. A number of my facebook friends and friends of friends are saying things like, "I bet he wishes he didn't turn his back on his people now (African Americans)," and "that he is too lame to holler at Black women," etc. etc. What does the issue at hand have to do with race? It has to do with infidelity. Period. Those stating such obviously have a preference in what and whom they are attracted to, apparently Tiger is no different than you.

Craig Stephens says, "You have freedom, but opportunities to learn the worlds of art, music, history, architecture, cultures you do not take. Everybody watches TV everyday. It comes to you in color, but you live so black and white. Spectators! You use freedom to be so boring. Get out and learn: read books and fly! Find things out for yourself... Life gives you a beautiful spectrum of opportunities...Find your love, career, fill it with passion!"

I suggest doing the same.

I personally am entirely against vaccinations. They are proven to contain toxic loads of heavy metals, and cause immune hyperstimulation which causes a host chronic illnesses and neurodevelopment disorders. Obama declares the swine flu a national emergency yet refuses to vaccinate his two children: HYPOCRACY at its finest. America: IDIOCRACY at its finest. Good morning!!!

I feel as though I am in a bubble today. Like my senses are encased somewhere closely outside of my body. Where do I go when I feel like this? Do I feel like this because I had weird dreams last night? Maybe because I laid around much of the day yesterday watching football and the VMAs. Speaking of which, a guy pulled up next to me today listening to a talk radio program where the topic of discussion was Serena, college player LeGarrette Blount's sucker punch, Kanye's episode last night, and how all of these totally separate incidences are related to racism in the United States. I wish I knew of such a station as I would have tuned in to hear more of the played out craziness play out.
My iced soy latte just arrived, hopefully this helps me out..

9/11

I see a homeopathist once a month. She gives me sugary pellets to take daily and doses me with direction and advice. I always leave feeling exceptionally inspired. Amusingly, I ran into my neighbor in the hallway shortly thereafter who was boasting about her "work free" lifestyle and how she goes about doing so. Though I showed little interest, she continued about a "must read" book of hers. It is titled, Sugar Daddy 101. No, seriously, that is the title. How did I go from such a progressive and motivating conversation to one so wasteful? Nevertheless, I am skimming the book. The author guides women how to be "sugar babies," how to meet men, keep men, sex men, and use men for money, i.e. how to be a prostitute. I know that this has been going on since the beginning of time, I just don't know why one would want to. I respect that every individual has their own unique recipe for happiness, this just doesn't seem like a recipe for success.

Compose Yourself

If you sound like a prepubescent male, please step out of the recording booth. I repeat, please step out of the recording booth. I find that I can't listen to the radio without hearing another homogenized replica of the last worst artist. I wonder if people are so brainwashed by the banality of the current music that anything different would go unappreciated. Songs easily adhese themselves in my head. They repeat themselves over and over. I often wonder the effects that this may have on my psyche as so many of the songs are misogynistic, egocentric, and object oriented. Lately I find myself dusting off old relics to listen to. Voltaire said that, "Anything that is too stupid to be spoken is sung." I hear you.
